The short version. Pulse stores what you track, the alerts it has sent you, and a way to reach your device with a notification. That's it.
No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no third-party advertising or measurement SDKs. Nothing is sold or shared for marketing. You can use Pulse without an account, and you can delete everything from inside the app at any time.
Pulse watches prediction markets and stock prices you choose and sends you a notification when one moves more than the amount you set. This policy covers the Pulse app on iOS and Android and the Pulse web app.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| The markets and tickers you track, plus the movement threshold you set for each | This is the product. Without it there is nothing to watch. |
| Email address and password (only if you create an account) | So your tracked list follows you to another device. Pulse works without an account; if you never sign in, no email is ever collected. |
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| A random device identifier, generated on your device on first launch | Ties your tracked list to your install before you have an account. It is a random value: not your advertising ID, not your device's serial number, and not linked to you personally. |
| A push notification token or subscription for each browser and app install you enable alerts on | The address your notifications are delivered to. Issued by Apple, Google or your browser vendor, not by Pulse. |
| Recent recorded values for each item: roughly the last 24 hours, sampled every 15 minutes | Draws the trend line on each card and provides the baseline a move is measured against. |
| Your alert history: which item moved, by how much, and when | Shows you what you missed while the app was closed. |
| Your plan tier | Determines how many markets you can track at once. |
No location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone or camera access, no advertising identifier, no browsing or app-usage analytics, no device fingerprint, no name, and no phone number. Pulse contains no analytics or advertising SDK of any kind, so there is no behavioural profile to sell.
Some settings live only in your device's local storage and are never transmitted to Pulse's servers: your light/dark theme choice, your sign-in session token, and a flag recording whether you've dismissed the iOS notification hint. Deleting the app clears them.
Pulse uses a small number of services to run. They process data on Pulse's behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
| Service | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Supabase (United States) | Database and, if you create one, your account and password |
| Fly.io (United States) | Runs the Pulse backend |
| Vercel | Serves the Pulse web app |
| Apple Push Notification service, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, and your browser vendor's push service | Deliver notifications to your device |
Be aware that the text of an alert (the market's name and how far it moved) passes through Apple's, Google's or your browser vendor's push infrastructure in order to reach your lock screen. This is how push notifications work on every app; it is not specific to Pulse. If a market's name is something you would rather not have appear on a lock screen, that is worth knowing.
Pulse reads public prices from Polymarket, Kalshi and Alpaca. It fetches each market once for everyone tracking it, rather than once per user, so these providers are not told who tracks what. Pulse is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any of them, and Pulse never places a trade, holds funds, or connects to any account you hold with them.
In the app, open Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your tracked items, your alert history, your push registrations, your plan record, and your login itself. It cannot be undone and no backup copy is retained.
If you never created an account, removing your tracked items and uninstalling the app leaves nothing that identifies you: only a random device identifier with an empty list attached.
You can also email the address below to ask what's held about you, to ask for a copy, or to ask for it to be corrected or erased.
Pulse is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Traffic between the app and Pulse's servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are handled by Supabase's authentication service and are stored hashed. Pulse never sees your password. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and Pulse makes no guarantee of absolute security.
Pulse reports price movement. It does not offer investment, trading or betting advice, and prices shown may be delayed or incorrect. What you do with an alert is your decision.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and the app will say so. Continuing to use Pulse after a change means you accept the updated policy.
